It is quite obvious that China today is still depending on the low margin, labor insentive industry. To make those industry going, people's wage has to be kept low.
If we continue to rely on that, I can see the middle-class growth will be limited since majority people in those industries can never be real middle-class.
If Chinese don't have its own brand or high margin industry, if China continue to be the world's low end manufactoring factory, I don't see a clear furture of China becoming a developed country.
