TOEFL 600 plus was a big deal in 1980s.
but it was nothing in 1990s, and most people should know 618 is definitely impossible, the last digit of toefl score must be 3, 7 or 0.
I never heard any free student dorm.
the hourly pay in mexican food resaurant is $15? where?
the chinese students (i.e. their customers) must be extremely dumb. they are willing to pay $15 to enjoy the "chinese food" prepared by someone who never cooked before going aboard.
I am not familiar with chicago, but in LA or NY people can have excellent seafood dinner in chinese restaurant at $15--20 each.
