is not a suitable way to discript the managment issue in most cases in China. Most of Chinese companies are still in the wealth accumulation period. They will do everthing they can to get bigger or survived. As one of my personal expierences working for one of biggest companies in China on a strategy issue, The CEO said onething I think can cover everything: We alwasy wear the carton shoes, now you want me to wear the lether shoes like you, I cannot even walk because I will hurt myself, and it is hurting me.
That is the case where you have to make change without pain. That is do it slowly. big dramatic change will damage your company, just like Honeywell 2 years ago although they get lucky.
