Party small talk, ok. Envy, not necessary.
The life of IBankers and Traders are not for faint hearted.
Most traders I worked with retired in five to 10 years. High percentage of them did not even make it and got fired.
Traders at least have somewhat regular but very intense working hours. IBanker have looong days (60 hr plus per week are quite common).
After you have all the toys, fancy house, fancy car, even a jet, there is no guarantee money can turn you into a better human being.
