PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide guidance, direction, and training to Customer Care representatives and group leaders to effectively resolve customer issues according to established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
2. Provide service to effectively resolve escalated customer concerns and issues. 3. Represent Customer Care Dept., in various meetings outside of the department and prepare special reports, projects, and presentations to keep management abreast of customer service issues.
4. Develop customer service strategy by analyzing and monitoring levels of customer satisfaction by promoting involvement and teamwork.
5. Resolve customer satisfaction issues by negotiating with other departments, speaking with customers, examining and redefining policies, and monitoring reports.
6. Manage through subordinate managers the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and employees. In some instance this manager may be responsible for a functional area and may not have subordinate managers/employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Good Japanese verbal and written communication skills.
· Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Good telephone Japanese etiquette skills.
· Good knowledge of products and services.
· Able to motivate others in sensitive situations.
· Prefer a Bachelors degree or equivalent, with a minimum of five years experience in a customer service environment, management or related field and a minimum of two years management experience.
· Good English written communication capability
INTERACTIONS:
· Frequently interacts with subordinates, outside customers, and functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
