I just got an offer from an engineering center of an American company. This is engineering center is still in the planning stage, and I will be one of the first group of engineers. I was offered a position of senior engineer. I am getting my Ph.D. soon in the US, and I don't have any experiences except 3 months internship as an R&D engineer. They offer me 169,000 RMB a year, is that a good offer? I have seen many examples here that people got much better offers. I don't have any idea about the pay rate in China now, any comments will be appreciated.
