Position: Finance Controller
Report to: VP, Finance
Location: Europe
Job Responsibilities:
·To establish and maintain an effective financial system and procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the accounting and reporting for Europe entities and Europe HQ
·To build up, coach and supervise the financial team in Europe
·To ensure that Corporate financial procedures are correctly understood and applied, and that the reported financial results comply with these procedures
·To assist and support functional departments in the overall business risk identification review and provide mitigating measures suggestions to be in compliance with both corporate and regulatory compliance
·Preparation, execution and control of the financial forecasts and budgeting for Europe entities
·To maintain effective costs monitoring and control systems for Europe entities
·Taxation optimization, Liaison with government authorities to ensure compliance in taxation and others
·To keep Corporate HQ informed about the relevant financial laws and regulations
·Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
·Educational Background: BA / BS or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics or relevant; CPA or ACCA is a plus
·Working Experience: Minimum 5-year related experience in MNC
·Job skills:
financial background conversed with International GAAP and US GAAP; good understanding of local tax rules and regulations
·Computer Skills: Strong computer skills; ERP experience
·Foreign Languages: good command of English
·Soft Skills: accountable; having the initiative to work independently; able to work under pressure; good at time management with a strong sense of timeliness; detail oriented.
