It is still less expensive to ship one back to China. I came across a new car BMW 330i in Shanghai with asking price of rmb 650,000. The same car in the States costs about $33,000 invoice price, which is less than half price! Anyone has personal experience bringing back a car to China instead of hearsay?
Furthermore, could I apply for an international driver license at the Shanghai Pudong airport so that I can drive "recklessly" on Shanghai streets? What kind of procedures? enough with usa driver license and passport?
