we lost our culture for generations, thus we lost our protocols, we lost our confidence as a whole (not on individual level)
japanese always function as a group when encounter external conflicts, if you watch how they function in international biz forum. the chinese always work against each other not knowing that can only be taken advantage of
i tried many times and never been able to beat the japanese system
indians go for their own individual interests too. japan "westernized" long before the chinese. the reason they can still sustain certain oriental values perhaps they still hold on to that part.
china is still poor on individual citizen level, but to function as world factory
and big consumer of raw materials nonetheless, we will see more other countries feel threatened, we will have increasing strategic interests presented outside china...the chinese will be regarded as more aggressive
no matter what
being overseas chinese, last 10 years we feel more proud, the next 10 years
we may see the mixed feelings in the industrial countries towards chinese
the legislations in eu and in usa will be more aggressive towards chinese, and ordinary people will see chinese as more threats to their jobs...be ready for the consequences
we will need great leadership in china to handle this, and we need solidarity from every chinese to act in line with new positions
