Behavior questions can't be ignored for technical positions. I once ignored asking this kind of questions and hired an engineer with mental problems. His mental problem was not noticeable during interview process but gradually emerged later on. He caused a lot of troubles and I had to spent considerable energy managing him and eventually fired him. One thing to remember is a large percentage of employees in China are not professional. They often do things emotionally instead of professionally. So employers have to pay enough attention to selecting new hires with integrity besides competency.
