If you want to invest, put it in index mutual fund, then wait for say 10-20 years.
If you want to practise your trading skills, use index like QQQQ to practise until you are convinced that you are not the trading type.
If you want to hear some advice from pro, hook up CNBC, and listen to Jim Cramer babbling on Mad Money, and find out that you still lose money.
