Let me share with my experience. Two months ago I was treating some friends at 恒隆 Plaza. As soon as we sat down, a young sales lady came up with a tray full of ice creams and talked to four of my kid guests if they needed Haagen Dazs ice creams. The children of course said ya ya! One kid grabbed two. Those were the tiniest cup of ice cream I have ever seen. In America we normally buy the size of 1.75 quarts. So I thought it was no big deal; the only thing bad for the kids were they ate ice cream as appetizers. Naturally I was the one footing the bills. Holy cow, do you know how much that small cup costs? 38 RMB each! Later on I told their manager without my guests present, no one wanted to be treated as a sucker and to be ripped off. If you need money, you come up to me and we can talk about it. The way I was treated I felt like just eating a fly; disgusting!
