Because MDs are just schmoozers, when most of your clients are white, you just need a white MD to close the deal. Fair enough. But there are plenty of mainland Chinese haigui MDs like Fred Hu, Erfei Liu. So if you have the credential, you get the job. I don't see any discrimination in that respect.
A distinctive advantage the TW, HK or SG executives have over the mainlanders is, they don't have a passport problem to worry about, so they can start climbing the ladder in Asia a bit earlier while we have to resolve the passport issue first, which sort of puts you in a holding pattern for a couple of years, if everything goes well. But in the end, mainlanders with strong credentials mostly manage to do quite well regardless of where they are.
