a better teahcer than I did. I don't remember I ever had a chance to study pinyin when I was a kid. Now I miss all the fun typing Chinese online. Actually my mother tongue Chinese is better than my "step mother" tongue English. But it took me forever to type one sentence in Chinese. I am adding this on my to-do-list after retirement.
