especially true when they married "motherly" and "capable" (in good way) wivies. In this case, part of the wife's responsibility is to teach the husband to share certain responsibility and "ownership" of the family....of course, some husbands are trainable, some are not.
I have seen a few husbands who do everything and take care of everything in the house. But then when you look at their wives, you may find these wives are "daughter" type wives -- who enjoy being taken care of.
Sometimes I wonder which comes first, chicken or egg? One has too much responsibility because the other doesn't take responsibility? Or one takes too much responsibility causes the other has less responsibility? I don't know.
Also don't just think this is true only with Chinese men. I've seen a plenty of American men are no better. But I have to admit, generally speaking, I think they are better on this.
When I can't change what's around me, I will try to change myself, change my expectation....and be appreciative, think about the ones without feet when we complain about our shoes.
