Job Scope:
The HR supervisor coordinates the implementation and formulation of policies, procedures, principles and administrative matters in accordance to Weatherford Corporate, Regional, District policies and Local laws and practices in a professional and cost effective manner.
Duties & responsibilities:
Local Administration
a) Ensure functions relating to the following activities are undertaken in a timely & effective manner to include: Employee Records; Employee Induction; Employee Agreements; Employee Relocation; Employee Transfer or position changes; Employee Pre-employment medical test; Employee Exit Interview
b) Ensure that Company-wide HR events are organized and managed effectively through thorough understanding of Event Management protocols, procedures and processes
Manpower Planning
a) Provide direction on the development of policies and framework on Manpower Planning, including guidelines, procedures and templates and justifications
b) Review requests for new/revised roles and requirements based on New Business growth and other external factors
c) Fully optimize the utilization of manpower across the organization in terms of transfer, promotion and termination processes
d) Provide Annual and Semi Annual Manpower Plan, as well as Monthly update on Movement of New and Leaving employees as reflected in the Headcount Report.
Recruitment & Selection
a) Coordinate requirement at all levels ensuring competence in recruitment and selections, participate in recruitment of all level staff as appropriate, advise and support line managers to improve ability to forecast, attract, and integrate new skills in line with business plans
b) Identify and adopt relevant interviewing techniques to effectively obtain desired information and secure cooperation, and to assess suitability of candidates
c) Coordinate and Supervise: Job applications and maintaining CV’s to include assistance with interviews & inductions; Liaise, process and utilize agencies on recruitment issues; Placing advertisements on the intranet & daily newspapers and its follow-up; Arranging pre-employment medicals & drug tests as required.
Employee’s Relation
a) Maintain and further develop effective, pro-active HR related policies/procedures and processes in the company
b) Participate in designing programs to develop positive employee relations/communications
c) Develop and maintain a friendly working environment and positive culture within the organization
d) Plan and devise system to effectively administer Employees Welfare services.
e) Establish policies that make our client a preferred employee.
Performance Management
a) Develop performance appraisal system and provide general management recommendations regarding the efficient utilization of talents
b) Build and instill performance driven culture across the organization and provide consultancy to other departments.
c) Ensure that Performance Appraisals is being conducted at least once a year for All Employees.
d) Review, and implement all Performance Improvements required
Compensation & Benefits
a) Assess the local market through surveys and networking, analyze results, make recommendations for changes including structure design
b) Maintain District Level Salary Scales & Structure and consistency for all positions within company guidelines
c) Participate in designing programs to develop positive employee relations, reward system, and compensation & Benefits system
d) Review requests for new /revised roles, coordinate final job profile content with line managers, and recommend appropriate compensation package
e) Apply statutory requirements of terms of employment, inclusive of compensation & benefits requirements
Project Management
a) Plan, manage and control the activities and the resources of a project within existing constraints (time, budget, legislation) and Leverage resources and drive the completion of projects and initiatives
b) Systematically identify, analyze and solve issues and problems, considering different alternatives to reach optimum solutions in a timely manner
c) Monitor, evaluate and compare the planned vs. actual results to ensure the status of the project cost, schedule and technical performance objectives conform to the project plan
d) Competently and professionally monitor, record, evaluate and report the progress of project and expedite any delayed activity in order to meet the project schedule, quality, budget and customer’s requirement
e) Make sure that information is clearly communicated and resources are in place to support the project
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of working experience in HR functions
· Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
· Able to work in a multi-national and multi-culture environment
· Comprehensive knowledge on HR functions
· Responsible, organized and professional in handling confidential information
· Resourceful and result-oriented
· Analytical and computer literate
