Job Description:
The successful candidate must have more than 8 years solid working experience over enterprise server projects (both software and hardware).
The candidate should have good command of computer performance methodology, strong background of RH Linux, compiler and computer architecture.
Familiarity of Intel server platform and processor
architecture is required. Good understanding and hands-on experience
with latest enterprise server hardware (like storage, network, etc.)
technologies will also be very important.
It's also nice to have enterprise middleware experience on Oracle database, MS SQL or Java.

Job Description Senior Product Validation Engineer
DESCRIPTION:
Define software testing methodologies, design and implement
test plans, test systems and test tools. Validate various products from
Intel's Software Products Division (SPD), such as compilers for
different architectures. Develop test cases, analyze the bugs, generate
test report and gather important indicators such as performance data
from test results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the quality of the products and minimize
validation escapes to customers. Ensure the validation task be finished
timely by well scheduling the time frame, improving the test efficiency
and automating the test execution. Understand the architecture and
analyze the source code of software products and write test cases to
increase code coverage. Must work closely and constantly communicate
with various international teams, including development, QA,
documentation, release management, marketing, tech support and
customers.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Perl and shell scripting
- Familiar with principles of compilers (including debuggers, linkers
etc.)
- Experience in design and implementation of complex software
- Experience in QA or product validation process
- Excellent analytical & debugging skills
- Good communication & written skills in Chinese & English

Develop plans, architecture designs, and implement SW
installation and packaging solutions for SPD (Software Products
Division) products. The job will require developing tools and
infrastructure to automate installs development and packaging process to
integrate into processes and tools of other SPD teams. It will also
require to extend second level customer support for tools and
applications deployed and supported by the team, such as SW

Job Description Firmware/UPnP Lead
Software Solution Group is looking for a highly motivated person to take
the ownership on dev. & marketing of next generation SW tools on uPnP as
part of Digital Home initiative. The person will lead a team includes
developers/validation & packaging engineers/enabling engineers/TMEs in
different locations. Deliverables include establishing usage models
based on the existing SDK & working out other feature requests based on
internal enabling requests & external customer requests, then taking the
product to market. This person will take on project management role to

strategies including pricing, release roadmap, negotiating developer

Tech. abilities include deep understanding of MS Windows, MS winCE/Java
