In this post, I wasn't talking about WLAN, Wi-Fi, I wasn't talking about business use of wirelss either. What I was talking about is a phone, just like the one we use at home, with cord or cordless, with or without fax, with or without a answer machine, but it has NO twisted-pair line going in its port(actually it has no phonejack), it receive cellphone signal. It operate on cellphone network instead of PSTN.
Now We can certainly expand this to business use:
How does a WLAN based VOIP PBX and phone system sound?
When i say VOIP, i am not talking about phonecard stuff or like net-phone, you know.
Today lots of companies are doing LAN based VOIP phone systems, altough deployments are rare. But have you heard WLAN based VOIP PBX?
The target should be small to medium sized company.
