They have lost their jobs, lost their savings in restricted company stocks, got publicly humiliated, and had to put cardboard signs on themselves in order to make a living. So what more does this Linda gal want to see?
She totally ignored the role of the ordinary, "innocent", person gambling on 5 houses. Nobody told them to buy so many houses. She also ignored the role of the big government, who pushed housing policies and told the banks that everyone was born equal and therefore deserved the same mortgage.
To her, ordinary people are always innocent, except when they come to work for a bank. Big corporations, to her, are not organized by people, but by some alien, unknown creature who intend to annihilate us all. Killing big corporations, especially banks, will do only good to people, according to her.
O Canada. Always second to its big brother south.
