The Microsoft Business Division China (MBDC) Hosting group is looking for a Development Lead/Manager who can help drive the development process across a globally-distributed development team, work closely with other groups within Microsoft and help drive Engineering Excellence within MBDC.
As Hosting Dev Lead/Manager you will be responsible for driving the architectural and design thinking across multiple teams, lead day to day development effort and guide less experienced SDEs in their career development. The Development Lead/Manager will report to the Hosting Group Manager and will work with PM, Test, UA and Product Management to cost feature work and drive the strategic thinking around product development. The candidate will represent Hosting in all MBDC development/architectural initiatives and will be the technical expert on the team.
The candidate will need 5-7 years of development experience with a track record of shipping at MS preferred. BS in computer science required and MS preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are key in this role as is the ability to drive architectural thinking and alignment across key MBD team and interact directly with our customers. Experience in building and motivating a young team is critical.
