Responsibilities and Details
Job Description: Responsible for determination and deployment of robust, stable, and manageable computing and network services. Manage technical projects. Be ready to support high volume manufactory 24X7 operation for any network and/or telecom problem. Make system documentation and contractor management. Determine site computing and network server strategy. Research new technology and/or products and/or tools. Monitor and perform capacity and/or feasibility studies and resolve network capacity issues. Identify, develop, and deploy tools supporting network server services. Perform impact analysis of new technologies on environment. Analyze and troubleshoot complex and advanced problems. Plans and schedules work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks. Uses judgment in data analysis to develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes.
Qualifications
You should possess a degree in Information Technology with four years of experience in the Telecom and Networks environment or equivalent. You should be Cisco* certified CCNP*. Additional qualifications include:
- More than four years experience in one or more of the following: LAN Network systems Cisco* routing and switching
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to take personal initiative
- Fast learner with ability and willingness to apply newly acquired skills and/or knowledge quickly
- High degree of judgment and initiative in resolving highly complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations and standards
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Ability to set out projects in a structured methodical manner and follow plan to completion
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in LAN troubleshooting techniques and tools, network management systems, Wide Area Networking, WLAN and Network Firewall security
- Experience in the telephony environment would be an added advantage
