Responsibilities:
· Guide and supervise the Project Managers / Leads to deliver IT solutions and projects to end customers in a Global delivery model
· Responsible for Career Development, Training, Mentoring of all the employees in the Delivery Unit
· Co-ordinate with offshore development centers in India and China to ensure timely and quality delivery
· Manage Customer Relationship from delivery point of view
· Assist Sales in converting prospects to customers - Defining solutions, Making delivery presentations, Anchoring proposals – providing estimation / solutions with the help of delivery teams
· Manage the overall delivery unit – People, Financials
Credentials: Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering / Technology/Computer Applications from a reputed university
Required skills:
· 12 - 20 years IT experience with hands on experience as Project Manager in managing IT projects (Maintenance, Development, Package implementation, Re-engineering) in various technologies
· Should be working in China and have exposure to Chinese culture
· Must have Bilingual skills (Native Chinese Level and Business Level English)-Desirable
· Excellent communication and client interfacing skills
· Experience in Estimation
· Exposure to Quality processes and methodologies
· Good People management skills; should have managed large teams of 40-80 people
· Knowledge / Experience in a distributed project management environment
· Prior experience in a relatively large, process certified organization for at least 2 years
