Role Purpose " Manage the set up of the North Asia Hub local IS environment / technical infrastructure, local applications and interfaces with external parties such as Customs.
" Co-ordinate with RO BIT and ITSC to implement the technical infrastructure to support the deployment of all required Network applications and make those applications available to users.
" Manage the Hub IS infrastructure, equipment & systems to ensure continuity of service for all aspects of Hub operations.

Accountabilities

Key activities Overall goals / Typical measures
Customer - Internal
" Plan & implement the local IS environment / technical infrastructure for the NAH, including network infrastructure (wired and wireless), servers, IP telephone system, personal computers, notebooks, office automation equipments, video conferencing and audio/video equipments.
" Deploy any local applications & implement interfaces with external parties such as Customs as needed for the NAH to operate.
" Support the installation and commissioning of the NAH Autosort by ensuring the local IT environment is ready & available.
" Partner with BIT and GIS / ITSC to manage the network infrastructure (wired and wireless), IP telephone system, video conferencing and audio/video equipments, personal computers, notebooks, servers and office automation equipments.
" Provide user training and on-going user support.
" Analyse and report user problems.
" Resolve and provide solutions on matters related to IS.
" Provide support for off-site meetings. " NAH local environment / technical infrastructure and interfaces are implemented according to the agreed time frame and budget.
" User satisfaction with:
o Call response time
o Resolution time
" Service Level Agreement commitments are met or exceeded.
Vendor / Supplier Management " Partner with BIT, GIS / ITSC and key stakeholders to define service level agreements between COMPANY and vendors and also negotiation on pricing and contracts
" To manage service quality provided by vendors. " Customer satisfaction.
" Maintain good relationships with the vendor. Both parties to the agreement have a clearer view of roles and responsibilities - thus avoiding potential misunderstandings.
Process

" Project management of the implementation of the local IS environment / technical infrastructure for the NAH.
" Partner BIT and GIS / ITSC for escalation IS related issues/outages
" Assist Country Business IT Manager / Hub GM on annual budgeting and operational planning processes.
" Ensure the availability, reliability and performance of all computer equipment to support 24 hours 7 days a week operations.
" To effectively communicate and manage system changes.
" Partner with BIT in applications, infrastructure implementation and standardisation. " Project plan developed and integrated with overall NAH Project development.
" Data quality meets local standards.
" Service Level Agreements for all Technical Services are met or exceeded.
" IS provision maximises the level of operational service with minimal disruption to the core business.
" Timeliness and accuracy of reports.
