This is a nation with great potential, mainly in terms of natural resources. But as De Gaul said: a nation with great potential, and always will be.
Its GDP per capita stays very stable around $3,000 for many years. A nation with very poor public administration.
But I am happy to see that, because Argentina and Brazil are the only two nations which can challenge America in the west hemisphere. If these nations were populated by all German/Scandinavian immigrants, then America will have two new largest challengers in the world.
