Responsibilities:
· Monitor and direct day-to-day activities of the team.
· Communicate progress to the Support project manager on customer side in Japan and Asia Pacific.
· Direct training activities for the team to support current and potential future assignments.
· Participate in customer communications, in understanding complex elements of a customer’s business and applying experience.
· Resolve complex customer issues for customers, diagnose remotely in a timely manner with client/server applications.
· To achieve industry leading customer satisfaction and loyalty through delivery of high level technical support to OpenView customers.
· Manager a team to perform enhancement verification and release testing for assigned products; Understanding of technology; Knowledge of Enterprise or Server Application Deployment Solutions.
· Facilitate the success of other parts of the company through collaborative problem solving, knowledge sharing, mentoring and proactive activities.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree education level (Computer System or Japanese preferred).
· Fluent Japanese for customer communication in speaking and writing
· Documenting knowledge for sharing with customers.
· Acceptable English skill for internal communication.
· Possess strong team leadership skill and escalation management experience.
· Excellent problem solving skills; analytical and diagnostic ability.
· Deliver effective information to the customers via the telephone, e-mail, and/or web.
· Knowledge of server platform such as Windows 2003 or UNIX.
· Knowledge of Networking, Database (Oracle or SQL), or internet services technologies (JAVA XML)
· Extended hour support participation (after hour, weekends, and holidays).
· Ability and desire to effectively interact with people.
· Having strong mindset of customer first and productivity improvement.
Preferable Qualifications:
· Experience of technical support and customer communication, especially Japanese customer support experience.
· Knowledge of OpenView products.
· Communication in Korea or Cantonese.
