斯汀你好。
很高兴你有一个很好的假期。我希望春天很快到来。
由于很多原因，我讨厌今年的严寒和潮湿气候。我喜欢做在太阳下晒阳光，喜欢我房子后面的和平安静的森林。
我曾经住在哥伦比亚的一个城市中间。很多年来，我想生活在郊区，有一个安静的环境。我的丈夫最后终于搬了出来，现在我有了好的天井，我喜欢作在那里享受鸟鸣。我有三只猫，有一拉萨犬喜欢坐在我旁边。我的家人说我依附于一只小狗生活。
但是，我没有小孩，这是我唯一所宠爱的。你可以从网上看到他的照片。当你谈论村里的老人们时，当他们不工作时，他们没有任何收入。实际上全世界都差不多。在美国也有很多男人或女人，也没有什么收入。
大多数人都借助于家人帮他们摆脱困境，有些人例外。在这里仅靠自行车或步行你几乎寸步难行。你必须有辆汽车或叫出租车。我们的家庭也经常尽可能的帮助那些不幸的人。
因为我没有小孩，所以当我老时，我也盼望别人仁慈的帮助我。我计划退休以后有较好的收入。但是谁知道以后会不会够用那。有时候我想知道在小村庄里生活是不是比在大城市里更更简单，更孤独。
上个星期，我在大雨中高速公路旁边解救了两只小狗。我把它们送到诊所照顾。看起来我又要收养一只小狗了。诊断治疗它们共花费了我53美金。
我想我还要做一些事，还要花一些钱。好，多告诉我一些关于你的节日情况。

hello Sting,How nice it is to hear you are having a good holiday. I wish spring would hurry and come here. For some reason I am tired of the cold and dampness that is in the air this time of year.
I'm looking forward to laying in the sunshine and enjoying the peace and quite of the forest behind my house. I used to live in the middle of the city here in Columbia. For many years I wanted to live a little further out for some quite surroundings.
My husband finally agreed to move and now I have a nice patio to sit on and enjoy the birds. I have three cats and one Lhasa Apso that loves to sit with me. My family says I'm too attached to the little dog. But, I have no children and so this is who I spoil. You may have seen his picture on Webshots.
When you were talking about the old men in the village and that they do not receive much money after they quit working...well, some things are the same universal. There are a lot of men and women in the US that do not plan for retirement by putting away money and they do not have much either.
Most of these people have extended family to help them out, but some don't. You can't get around anywhere here on a bike or by just walking. You must either have a car or call a taxi. Our family helps out those less fortunate as often as possible. Because I have no children I will most likely be at the mercy of others kindness when I'm older.
I'm planning for retirement and have a good bit of money put away, but who knows if that will be enough to see me through the hard times.
Sometimes I wonder if living in a small village where things are simple is not better than living in a city and being alone?
Last week I rescued two small dogs off a big highway here in the rain. I took them to a shelter to be treated and looked after. Looks like I'm going to be adopting a new dog soon. ；o) They are charging me $53.00 just to check them out.
Well, I guess it had to be done and they have to get their money from somewhere.
