主题：我的斯汀网络通信录（序）
我自己有很多个人主页，由于工作性质，我申请的都是美国域名，纯英文界面。我的很多朋友或笔友也跨越世界各地，职业各行都有。
我经常就一些热点问题或中美文化差异展开讨论，在我的个人流言板上，信箱里每天都有很多人留言，写信，经常有绝妙的文章出现。
我现在准备推出系列《斯汀网络通信录》连载，之所以有此想法，缘于有些笔友的见解实在是独辟蹊径，有益的很。本着“奇文共欣赏”的原则，愿于大家分享。见仁见智，望赐教。
我的连载全部来自于英文原版，当然是由我的外国朋友或笔友所写，中文翻译工作则由我个人完成。
错误之处多多，希望大家帮忙指正。(找错误,送美腿活动进行中)

你好。 我已经不记得你谈的那次事件了（注：南联盟中国使馆被炸事件），我猜想在你的国家是一个大的新闻，但在美国或许就不是。
现在，我们无畏的领导人又想去拿下伊拉克。大多数美国人实际上和大多数中国人是一样的。他们上班，回家，吃饭，睡觉，然后再去上班。他们不关心或卷入任何麻烦，唯有为生计奔波而已。
我们的政府正在迅速剥夺我们的自由，比你们获取自由的速度还要快。如果布什还一意孤行，那我们明天都将沦为奴隶。据我所知：拥有金钱的大企业家们控制着一切事情。
如果你问我：我就会说世界上所有国家的领导人都在做着骇人的工作。人类和环境永远是他们所考虑或顾及的最后一项。他们理应成为最重要，最主要的考虑范畴。一旦弱小的群体饥寒交迫，而丧失生命的时候，我们的领导人们便无事可做了。
我对世界上所有国家的领导人都不抱任何幻想。他们很明显不去关注普通的群体。我认为所有的人们都应该拥有他们所必需的一切（家，食物，去谋生的方式），都应该快乐而健康的生活。
我的丈夫和我曾经计算了一下：如果把地球上所有的资源和土地平均分配给在它上面生存的人们，每个人拥有1500万美圆和25英亩土地是绰绰有余的。这里我指得是60亿人口。
由此，你就会明白：不应该有一个人被饿死或无家可归。世界上百分之二的群体实际是无情剥夺了那些人应有的资源。听起来很恐怖是吧, 实际上他们就是这么做的.

Hi,sting. I don’t remember the incident you are talking about. I guess it is big news in your country, but old news here. Now our fearless leader wants to take on Iraq. Most American people are like most Chinese people. They go to work and come home and eat, sleep and go to work again. They don’t get involved with anything, but making a living for their families. Our government is taking away our freedoms faster than you are gaining yours.
If Bush could have his way we would all be slaves tomorrow. Here is what I do know. People (Big business) with money are the ones running everything. If you ask me, all the world leaders are doing a terrible job. People and the environment are the last things on their list. It should be the main thing on their list. If the weakest people are starving and dying then they failed in their job. I have no faith in any of the world leaders. They definitely don’t care about the ordinary citizen. I think all people should have what they need (home, food, and a way to make a living) to be happy and healthy.
My husband I and figured out if the resources and land were divided up amongst all the people on the planet, there is enough for each person to have $15,000,000 and 25 acres of land. That is 6 billion people I’m talking about. So you can see, no one should be starving or without a place to live. The top 2% of the people have all the resources taken up for them. Sounds terrible that they would even do such a thing.
