We have been retained by a multinational client which is a leading global supplier of systems to make the handling of bulk materials cleaner, safer, and more productive. Since its founding in more than half century ago, the company has grown dramatically through the development of solutions to help the solids-handling industries around the world.
The company has rep office in China since 2003. As part of the opening of a new plant in Kunshan to do local sourcing and assembly, it is looking for an experienced GM/Plant Manager to set up and grow the new plant.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years managing a similar sized company or division
- Implementation of processes within subsidiary, which optimize performance within established budgetary guidelines
- Establishment of sound department planning; implementation of strategies and processes to achieve goals and budgeting
- High level of proficiency in effectively managing others for high performance
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional oral and written communicative skills
- Initiative and creative thinking in decision-making and problem resolution situations and in the performance of job duties
- Successful performance of assigned duties with frequent interruptions and time pressure
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- BS Degree in Engineering preferred. Will consider BS in Marketing or Business. Masters Degree preferred.
