Deputy Director of Quality and Process
Responsibilities:
Lead R&D??s quality and process group to setup product quality standards, define processes and work with project managers, product managers and R&D managers to ensure company??s unified process and produce quality product, on time, in a highly dynamic technical and very competitive marketplace
Work with company??s TQM team to improve overall processes and fix all issues related to R&D.
Manage Network Interoperability Test Group and Test Automation Group to ensure company wide product quality and interoperability.
Track and report all project status and quality issues to management weekly and on as needed base.
Manage R&D??s equipment and Lab to ensure maximum sharing and capital return,
Closely work with other R&D sites in both US and China to setup common process and quality guideline and to execute the policies.
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. MS preferred
8 years related experience in quality process and system testing, including at least 3 years in a management capacity.
Successful candidates will also have demonstrated the following:
Fully understand quality standards and product realization process in R&D environment, preferred in telecom or data comm. Industries.
Excellent leadership skills, capable of working with large and diversified cross-functional teams and remote functional organizations.
Proven track record of quality improvement and problem solving skill.
Detail oriented and self-starter and quick learner.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
