Quality Manager
Report to: General Manager
Subordinates: QC Supervisor, QC lab Technician, QC lab Engineers
Responsibilities:
Manage plant and laboratory-based initiatives aimed at
Continuously upgrading laboratory test capability and maintaining ISO & TS system, including all ISO 9001-2008 and TS16949-2009 documentation, training of technicians, transfer and validation of methods from US, laboratory equipment installation, start up and maintenance.
Supervising lab supervisor directly and 2-4 laboratory technicians and engineers indirectly to perform analysis of finished products and raw material in support of ongoing manufacturing requirements.
Performing some analytical testing as back up to laboratory team.
Supporting the electrolyte manufacturing processes of China plant in case of process upsets, product quality issues, raw material qualifications and product quality control and release.
Supporting the commercial team in resolving customer complaints related to unsatisfactory product quality.
Qualifications:
BS degree in science and preferably an M.S. in organic chemistry or chemical engineering,
Minimum 5 years of experience with commercial laboratory experience.
Familiarity with GC, AA and other laboratory equipments and instruments
Experience with ISO 9000 and TS16949 (implementation and operation)
Good command of English by speaking and writing
Strong integrity, with proven and demonstrated skills in verbal & written communications and interpersonal interactions.
Show rich experience and good skills when handling customer audits and complaints
Experience with the use of air / water sensitive substances such as organo-metallic compounds.
