Lead Auditor (Senior Auditor) – US Leading Automotive Company-Shanghai CBD Location
Headquartered in US, a global market leader providing Automotive parts to variety of clients is now seeking for Lead Auditor /Senior Internal Auditor to join in their China Head Quarter to cover more than 30 legal entities. Reporting to China Audit Director, this role will also lead project and cooperate other Corporate Audit team.
Below are some key responsibilities for this role:
- Plans and oversees the daily activities of internal audits and special projects to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, business processes, and procedures throughout the Asia Pacific region.
- Prepares planning memos that identify background information for the audit location, as well as define a work plan for audit staff including travel arrangements, audit assignments, progress reporting, etc.
- Projects respect, consideration, and professionalism to the auditor and audit staff
- Supervises one or more professionals in selected areas of audit engagements including providing on-the-job training, and critically reviewing work papers prepared to evaluate the auditor's performance
- Informs auditor of the progression of the audit and acts as chief spokesperson in the absence of the Audit Director
- Wraps up each audit by completing and documenting all unanswered issues, work papers, and follow-up items in a timely manner
To suit for this role, you are required to have below qualifications:
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university
- Four to six years public accounting and/or industry audit experience; individuals with experience in both corporate auditing and Big-4 audit firm exposure is highly desired
- Previous exposure to lead and grow a team is required.
- Background will include application of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards, sampling and information system audit techniques, and exposure to a variety of audits
- Fluent and smooth bilingual communication, diligent with good working manner.
