II. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. In both presales activities and project implementations, to act as a primary source of knowledge for the ALM business. To do so, the consultant should be able to:
1.1. Command full knowledge of ALM functions and processes for financial organizations
1.2. Speak with confidence to clients about ALM functions and processes
1.3. Be constantly updated with changes and additions to regulatory requirements of ALM functions and processes
2. In both presales activities and project implementations, to act as lead consultant in the delivery of the ALM solution. To do so, the consultant should be able to:
2.1. Communicate and Collaborate effectively with the sales and presales groups responsible for the ALM solution
2.2. Communicate and Collaborate effectively with the key consultants in the ALM solution Business Unit (head office/development center)
2.3. Understand and manage client requirements and satisfaction
2.4. Configure and modify the ALM solution as needed
2.5. Create reports using the different reporting tools that can be used with the ALM solution
2.6. Create the necessary data mappings for the ALM solution using SSIS or the BDI solution
2.7. Create key documentation deliverables such Functional Requirement Specification, Detail Design Specification, Data Specification
2.8. Facilitate highly professional interaction with clients to enable the creation of key presales and project deliverables
3. As lead consultant, to ensure that junior consultants in the team are being developed to perform in the same capacity as a lead consultant.
III. SKILLS AND BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE
Essential
• Held full-cycle Lead Consultant role in more than one successful ALM implementation
• Excellent skills in -
1. Leadership, coaching and mentoring
2. Organization, multi-tasking, planning and execution
3. Communication in written and verbal Mandarin and English
4. Organizational navigation and interaction
Desirable
• Previous experience of working with either of the two ALM solutions- Ambit ALM and Focus ALM
• Risk Management Certifications
IV. Qualifications
Degree in any Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Technology discipline.
At least 5 years working experience in the implementation of ALM solutions
At least 10 years working experience in a mixture of the Finance industry and the Information Technology industry
