• Requirements gathering and analysis, test planning activities, writing test cases/scripts, and execution of all testing (including system testing, integration testing, acceptance testing)
• Reporting on the results of testing
• Test System Maintenance including Installations and Upgrades of software in test
• Defect Reporting and Tracking
• Log Interrogation and Database Manipulation to investigate issues and troubleshoot
• Coaching / Mentoring of more junior members of the team may be required
Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS - REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• 2 years minimum industry experience in Software Testing.
• Experience of using Test Director or Quality Centre (or other Test Tracking and Defect Management tools).
• Experience of a formal development lifecycle
• A good level of technical knowledge
• Knowledge of UNIX and SQL
• Team Leading experience may be of an advantage
