Job Description
Business Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Strategy professionals identify and implement high performance business value creation and transformation opportunities by delivering independent strategic and general management consulting services focused on the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer agenda.
Key responsibilities may include:
• Planning and managing business diagnosis and planning activities
• Guiding team through problem definition, issue identification and workplan development using problem solving principles and past experience
• Performing/interpreting value analysis to identify value creation opportunities for clients
• Planning and managing effort to define to-be organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies, and performance measurements/KPIs
• Planning and managing business architecture implementation activities
• Monitoring achievement of strategic, financial and operational benefits, ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved and helping to adjust programs if necessary
• Managing proposal and business development efforts and, as appropriate, coordinating with colleagues to create consensus-driven deliverables
• Determining project resource mix and overall expenditure plan
• Developing appropriate research/analysis plan given initial hypotheses, options and trade-offs, and available information
• Designing surveys, preparing and conducting interviews, and facilitating group meetings and focus groups
• Leading team in structuring and developing valuation models and value analysis
• Constructing overall business case logic and demonstrate understanding of financing issues
• Identifying a company’s key cost and value drivers and explain their priority/influence on business performance
Professional Skill Requirements
• Knowledge of Strategy offerings as well as deep skills in C-level communications, Advanced Value Analysis & Insight Development, Industry/Business Assessment & Insight Development, Strategy Development, High Performance Business Architecture & Journey Planning, and Strategic Business Management
• Good Interpersonal skills
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• MBA degree is preferred.
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Desire to work in an information systems environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
