Real Story at Work: Funny Meaning of "PIMP" (adj.)

One day, the gay British co-worker forwarded a "condo for sale" ad to all of us in the company, with some real nice pictures attached. Its decoration is modern and fancy, and since it's in downtown, it got a pretty nice view of all the skyscrapers penetrating into the beautiful sky & cloud
During lunch, left nothing else to talk about in the breakroom, I brought it up to them bachelors:
Sallysally: Hey, what do you think of that condo? If you guys knock on the wood, N (the british co-worker) may get his friend to make yo a deal and even better, to save some comission fee...
And before I could finish, I heard C commented
"YEAH, I like it, it's pimp!"
SallySally: #!%@$^@% What? P-I-M-P pimp? It's PIMP?!
"YEAH, it's totally PIMP"...
...
And it turned out, PIMP, as an adjective, means SHINY and stuff like that, hoho~~ And as C suggested, I sent an email to that British coworker (C actually evilishly hinted that I may want to say this to N's face)
- N, this condo is PIMP PS: C made me let you know about this...
Not surprisingly, N knows about PIMP, so we all laught off
Days later, BBQ at our place, when I joked about this, a girl reminded me: there's some TV show called "PIMP the car" so it could be SHINY and FANCY...
And you know what? After I watched "Hustle and Flow" and saw the beat-out yet still SHINY and FANCY cadiliac DJay was driving, PIMP as adj. finally made perfect sense...
