when Deshpande was active there.
The successes of indian vs. chinese immigrants here are disproportional in business areas, whether in entrepreneurship or on Wall St. The only area we do better is academia (traditional physical sciences, not including biology, medicines, economics, etc.).
The entries into Wall St. were started about the same time, in late 80's. If you look at the top management of big firms and hedge funds, it's a little shocking.
