Seattle Chinese Professionals Coalition (CPC-Sea), one of the largest Chinese community in the Greater Seattle Area and West Coast will establish a Dinner Gathering on March 8th Wed. featuring with Keynote Speaker: Former WA State Governor (1997 - 2005), Gary Locke.

Former Governor Gary Locke is a well known name to Washingtonians and all Chinese across the ocean: He was elected WA's 21st governor on Nov. 5, 1996, making him the first Chinese American governor in U.S. history.
On Nov. 7, 2000, Gary was re-elected to his second term by an overwhelming margin.
Before his WA state Governor's position, he was King County Executive(1994-1997), Washington State House of Representatives(1983-1994), Deputy Criminal Prosecutor, King County(1976-1980).

As a Chinese American, how he can achieve all of the above? What drives him keep moving forward? What is his definiton and vision on leadership? What can Chinese Americans do to the future of the beautiful America? and also, what will be his future possible move? Well, we will have a chance to meet and talk to his face to face next month, on Wed. evening, March 8th. Please make sure to bring your own questions.
Details of the event as the following:
1. Location: New Kowloon Seafood Restaurant, 900 S. Jackson Street, 2nd floor, Seattle, WA 98104. Free parking.
太平洋商业中心二楼, 新九龙海鲜大酒楼
2. Time: Wed., March 8, 2006. 5:30PM - 10PM.
Attendees will start to check in from 5:30PM, dinner will be starting at about 6:45PM.
Gary's speech start at about 8PM, questions and answer section, finishing at about 9:45 or 10PM
3. Dinner Menu: It will be a banquet style 11 courses authentic Chinese food: 1). Chives & Dry Scallop Soup 2). Jelly Fish (appetizer) 3). Prawn with Honey Walnut 4). Fish Fillet with Chinese Broccoli 5). Seafood with Broccoli 6). whole deep fried Chicken 7). Imperial Style Pork Chop  . Steamed fish with garlic and Chinese onion 9). Ginger Scallion Crab, 2 sets 10). Fried baby Veg. sprouts 11). Dessert, plus steamed rice
4. Cost: $20 - $28, Free parking ,
