The detailed schedule of the wedding ceremonies is as follows:-
1. Day 1 .... "Sangeet, cocktails, shagan, engagement etc at the Groom's city 8.00 P.M.
(This means music, dance, drinks and dinner.....before that the bride's parents and the bride seek from groom’s family for the groom to be married to their daughter. The groom’s family agree and the wedding rings are exchanged. The party lasts till about 3.00 in the morning).
Venue: Groom's city.
2. Day 2 ---- The bride and her family leave back for the Bride's city and in the evening groom’s family in the groom’s city has drinks/dinner at home.

3. Day 3 --- "Mehndi Ceremony" at the Groom's city
(This is when the ladies and the girls get their hands painted with "henna", which after being applied is allowed to dry up, later the hands are washed and this henna applied lasts on their hands for over 2 to 3 weeks. Nothing wrong with it but they can use their hands normally.)
This will be followed by music, dinner and drinks.... will last till about mid night.
Venue: Groom's city.
4. Day 4 --- Groom’s family travel to the Bride's city and we stay at a Hotel s in Delhi. In the evening we join the Bride's family for Sangeet and Cocktails and dinner
(This again lasts upto 2- 3 A.M in the morning.)

5. Day 5 --- There shall be few small ceremonies in the afternoon and evening at the Hotel in the Bride's city.
Then at 8.00 P.M. the groom rides on a horse and along with the groom’s family and friends, lots of music, people proceed to the bride's place where the actual ceremonies of the wedding takes place.....vows between the bride and the groom takes place, again drinks, music,
dinner and then doli. Now doli is the departure of the bride to her in-laws. This again will last till about 3-4 A.M.

6. Day 6 --- After taking the bride with the groom’s family, the groom’s family depart for the Groom’s city from hotel at about 11.00 A.M. and reach the groom’s house by about 5.00 P.M.
7. Day 6 --- People have dinner, drinks etc at night.
Venue: Groom’s city.
8. Day 7 -- Since now the bride has joined the groom’s family, the groom’s family hold a reception party at groom’s city again music, drinks, dinner etc and will last till 3-4 A.M.
