it is much harder to understand all the rules in the football. but once you get into it, it is much more exciting than soccer.
it involves all 11 players on the field and you are never out of a game even with only minutes left. For example, in their first matchup this season, Redskins was dominated by Cowboys for almost 56 minutes but managed to win in the last 4 minutes with two long bombs from mark brunell to santana moss.
personally i prefer NFL to college FB since NFL is much faster and the scheme is much more complicated.
if anyone interested, watch the NFL match-up on ESPN, it teaches you a lot about the plays in NFL. You'll be amazed that even a semmingly chaotic running play could involve so many design and creativeness.
