I don't if you could call it the Rockie Mountains - this is a small one among the thousands of peaks that make the Rockie.
But something is surely wrong. if you go uphill from Mammoth, you are going IN the YS park toward Norris, not out.
This series didn't get much out of the park, nor much accuracy. Wildlife is everywhere in the park, bison, elk, pelicans. Grizly bears are not readily seen, but I saw several in almost each tour. If anyone is interested in taking a more accurate look, there are several websites for touring YSN.
