around 1994, Montreal was picked as the most inhabitable city in the world. (maybe 20% or more people here know where montreal is, it is a city in Quebec, Canada.)
at that time Quebec independence movement was at its peak and non-french guys fled from Montreal. most people left were not-so-wealthy "French" guys and economy was terrible.
what impressed me most were the scenes at the subway (called Metro) entrances: old white ladies in their 40s to 60s had wet kisses with young black boys in their teens.
One day I went out to find a summer sublet. After I knocked on the door, a nice guy opened the door and let me in. Inside the room are two mattresses on the floor. Three young ladies and another guy were sleeping then. Beer cans and bottles were everywhere. One lady climbed up and I found she is totally nude. And to my surprise, I realized the guy who let me in didn't wear any underwear and his penis was pointing upward.
He was a little bit shy, and said in English with strong French accent: "you know you are in the best city in the world."
hahaha, that day I learned a new word: ORGY
