Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
§ Responsible for the procurement of components for the local production of the JV including ｓｅｌｅｃｔion, development and maintenance of a capable and reliable supplier base.
§ Ensure a continuous flow of the required parts at a competitive price in the appropriate quality, the proper quantity at the right time to the designated location by performing the duties e.g. issue purchase orders to local suppliers, conduct cost analysis and price negotiations.
§ Verify desktop research, decide local procurement policy with suppliers according to the purchasing strategy, perform supplier pre-ｓｅｌｅｃｔions and perform supplier evaluations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field knowledging business administration and understanding the principles of supply chain management and quality assurance.
Familiar with MS Word/Excel/Project, SAP R3 and SPQM tools.
§ Good command of written and spoken English.
§ Additional German skills are a plus.
Minimum 3 years experience in procurement.
Automotive industry preferred
§ Mature, responsible and result-oriented personality.
§ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Multilingual candidates preferred.
