My impressions were:
1) It is a government-controlled capitalist city country;
2)It is so small that its annual GDP is only half of Wal-Mart's yearly revenue;
3)The only major avenue is Orchard street;
4)In summer time it is miserablly hot and humid;
5)Black pepper crabs on East coast taste very good;
6)Many people speak Chinese; and quite a few Indians and Malays;
7)To get good deals you need to cross bridges to shop in Malay side.
