I am talking about political interests/strategy. Americans are culturally close brothers of Europeans and they are very nice to persons who can speak British English or from France, but when it comes to national interests, they have their own clear standings and interests.

The original ZT article on Kagen is about geopolitics, not about cultures.

My point is that: two blocks of Europeans are too different, and their political integration will fail. I am happy to see that, it is in America's interests, also in China's interests.
