not very clear what would be your position?
you would like to solicite american manufacturers to move their operations to china? or you want to contact them for their outstanding operation alreayd in china?
also you used the word assymbly, which GE is doing it, many others did in past 30 years in china, but fewer and fewer are still doing it. the only two reason i know to do that would be
1) SKD custom duty advantages 2) technology transfer is what international players offer so chinese partners would offer market access for their products at the begining stage
but i was not sure that was what you were refering to
if you are talking about contract manufacturing, then that part would nto have any to do with you because it is their
internal decision as what to be buildt where at what integrated supply chain costs, they still sell it as it was built in usa. unless you are talking about the stuff built in china and sold both chinese market and us home market, then typically the price structure between international and domestic (list prices) are commonly set differently. some have domestic higher others are lower. you need to do your home work to figure out
