Job Responsibilities:
- Provides analysis, forecast and commentary, as well as
recommendations to the China MD
- Can recommend improvements and changes that impact
business profitability positively and improve efficiency
- Can analyse and rapidly understand the business
- Is able to participate in regional projects
- Acts as a Business Consultant to the Managing Director
- Can explain the Chinese system and specific local differences to the Finance function outside China
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- CPA qualification required, ACCA would be a plus but
experience in finance is more important
- Very good spoken and written English; Fluent Mandarin
- High level of integrity
- Has the ability to explain financial concepts
- Excellent “financial sense”
- Business and results oriented
- Able to achieve result under pressure
- Good judgment, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- 5-6 years related experience
- Has experience in a western owned company
- Exposure to international financial standards
