i was considering to purchase a software company but only for following reason
1) they had put a lot of efforts in a certain indstrial app field and they began to have domestic market
2) with the international market i know, it would have been a good buy, simply because it was a college based company so they could put a lot of works on their project clocks funded by the college/government
3) those guys are tech gurus but have no slightest idea on comerrcialization of products, know nothing about product commercial package deals and what would have been where i come in
the reason i dropped, i found their self claimed advancements were BS after international market player product checkings
so yes buying is good but why and for how much
if you get a good team and established expertise in certain industrial app, and you have your own or others commercial expertise to make a good marriage, then IPO will be the next
believe that would be a good way to go
