谢谢大家. 这个道理其实我都知道. 只不过我好象天性比较散漫, 实在不知道适不适合自己,其实就是四大当中的一家. -- 冰冰晶 - (22 Byte) 2005-6-26 周日, 12:56 (498 reads) |

If one has already worked in private industry for some years and has been comfortable with the private tempo, it is kinda of hard to let oneself being subordinated to those young supervisors who are just out of school for one or two years and who will definitely order you to do all the copying/casting/call over stuff and who actually do know much a lot than you except the rituals of the firms...
Big 4 always prefer "blank sheet" types of apprentice work, coz' they've set up all the procedures and forms for the work. They just need someone to align with that, but no creativity - creativity in accounting is regarded as "shenanigan"
I was an international accounting major though graduated from foreign language studies school...I always wanted to do something else, like advertising, like PR, like consulting...But sad enough the recruiters just put me into the stereotype of Big 4 when I graduated by saying "you spent four years learning accounting, why do you want to waste that?"
By the way, if you are joining tax or advisory practice in Big 4, it is better - they do prefer experienced people and that will be reflected into your paycheck as well...
