Haier shall walk away from the deal. Haier shall make this very clear in public. An ailing Maytag without the low cost production base such as Haier has to offer will remain a money losing company no matter who else is buying it. Haier shall bring the best synergy for the deal. Samsung and LG have expressed no interests. Will Ripplewood increase the offer. We will see.
