pronounciations, they feel bad, not you! Also, personally, I believe that name is a gift from your parents. Why would you throw it away? You should take pride in your own uniqueness, not to be ashamed of. I know many Chinese who are doing very well career wise have their own names, instead of Charles, etc. To me, it is a matter of confidence and pride.
